Das Rechenzentrum lädt gemeinsam mit dem Projekt DivAirCity ein, das Kunst- und Kreativzentrum und seine Umgebung Grün weiterzudenken.
Am Donnerstag, 25.08., 14 Uhr wird das Vorhaben den Nutzer*innen und allen Interessierten im Kosmos des Rechenzentrums vorgestellt.
Ausgangspunkt ist das Projekt DivAirCity der Europäischen Kommission, welches das Ziel hat die Luftqualität in Städten zu verbessern. Wobei Menschen aus dem Umfeld beteiligt werden sollen und mitentscheiden sollen, wie durch Grünflächen und Pflanzen das Umfeld verbessert werden kann. Neben Arhus, Bukarest, Orvieto und Castellon, ist Potsdam ein Ort zur Umsetzung des Forschungsprojektes. Hier soll das Rechenzentrum Labor und Experimentierfeld und der Schlaatz langfristiger Ort für nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung sein.
Das Rechenzentrum ist stark von Luftverschmutzung auf Seite der Breiten Straße und der Dortustraße betroffen. Wir wollen mit Expert*innen, Nutzenden und Interessierten gemeinsam überlegen, wie mit Grün die Luftqualität und auch die Aufenthaltsqualität rund um den das Haus verbessert werden können. Welche realistischen Ideen und abgehobenen Visionen schon existieren oder gedacht werden wollen, um ein zukünftiges ökologisches Rechenzentrum zu entwickeln.
Das Team DivAirCity:
Seit September 2021 arbeitet ein Team des HPI, der Charité, der Stiftung SPI und der Agentur Creative Climate Cities an dem Projekt, das Diversität (Div), Luftqualität (Air) und nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung (City) zusammendenkt.
Moderiert und begleitet wird das Projekt durch den MitMachen e.V. Und diesen Donnerstag werden wir auch begleitet durch den Podcast Datenleben aus Branschweig, der Luftverschmutzung bereits im Podcast thematisiert hat und das Vorhaben von DivAirCity spannend findet.

Together with the DivAirCity project, the Rechenzentrum invites you to think greener about the arts and creative hub and its surroundings.
